Where Faith Meets Life–Aquinas Institute Roundtable to be Held January 15

It’s not too late to register! The Aquinas Institute of Theology’s January 2013 Roundtable, Where Faith Meets Life: In Conversation with Mormons, will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Event is presented by Sister Carla Mae Streeter, O.P., and Bishop Howard Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

As members of the Mormon faith gain public prominence, learn more about the Mormon faith and its relationships with other Christian communities. Mormons have taken a more visible role in public life in America and throughout the world, but their history and beliefs seem strange and mysterious to many.

Please join us on Tuesday, January 15, as we discuss The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, its founding, heritage and relationship to the larger faith community. Register by Friday, January 11, by calling Diane Henderson at 314-256-8856 or by email at henderson@ai.edu.

The Aquinas Roundtable meets at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel at 7730 Bonhomme, Clayton, MO.

Registration begins at 11am; lunch begins at 11:30am; lecture begins at 12 noon.

Each lecture costs $23 including lunch and parking.

You have an entree choice! Please indicate in your email or voice message your choice of: #1 smoked chicken salad sandwich with fruit cup or #2 Caesar salad with Chef’s choice soup.
