Upcoming Events – Mark Your Calendar!

At Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls, we’re having a busy summer preparing events for this fall. We invite you to any and all of our events and programs. Here’s a taste:

Festival of Nations: On the weekend of August 25-26, the International Institute of St. Louis will hold their annual Festival of Nations in Tower Grove Park, and IP/FBW has been asked to host a separate area of the park showcasing the religions of the world. This is a great opportunity for each faith group to get face time with the public and highlight your beliefs, worship styles, etc. If you want your faith group to participate, contact the IP/FBW office at 314-918-2541 or email Coordinator Leslie Heberlie at leslie@interfaithstl.org. There will be established guidelines about our area (for example, no proselytizing) but the possibilities are endless to highlight your faith group’s best. Check out the Festival of Nations website.

Arts and Faith St. Louis: Last September, we commemorated the 10th anniversary of 9/11 with an Interfaith Memorial in Music, a program of both professional musicians and congregational talent held at the Sheldon as an act of shared celebration, unity and commitment to diversity. This year we will continue the tradition of bringing arts and faith together, as we work with the Arts and Faith St. Louis group on a similar event to be held September 9, again at the Sheldon. This year’s event will feature a special part coordinated by IP/FBW. If you or someone within your faith tradition is an artist or creative type, we welcome your help in planning this special event. Please contact the IP/FBW office at 314-918-2541 or contact Coordinator Leslie Heberlie at leslie@interfaithstl.org.

Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls Annual Dinner: Each year we convene for an Annual Dinner as a fundraiser and opportunity to sit down in communion with one another as a celebration of our shared successes as an interfaith community. This year’s event will be held October 18 at The Cedars at St. Raymond. More information will be coming soon! Watch the Annual Dinner page for more information.
