Service Project at Joe’s Place on MLK Day

All are welcome and invited to join in for an interfaith service project on the morning of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, from 9 am to noon, on Monday, January 19th, 2015, as we support an important local organization. We’ll convene for a service project at Joe’s Place in Maplewood. Joe’s Place offers homeless teenage boys in the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District a caring home environment that supports them in graduating from high school and creating positive futures.

This project will include facilities improvement and general maintenance, as well as an opportunity to reflect among the interfaith volunteers. To sign up for this project, please contact service@interfaithstl.org, or call Leslie at 314-918-2541.

This and other service projects in 2015 are generously funded by the June Holke Mission Fund at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ.
