Neshama Carlebach and the Green Pastures Baptist Choir – August 19 at Shaare Zedek

On August 19, Neshama Carlebach and the Green Pastures Baptist Choir will perform a concert called “Higher and Higher” at Shaare Zedek Synogogue in University City. See full event flier here!

Neshama Carlebach, leading superstar in Jewish music, continues the legacy of her father Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. She brings her father’s incomparable melodies to our celebration, along with her incredible band and The Green Pastures Baptist Church Choir. Their song “Higher and Higher” was nominated for a Grammy. Says a previous concert-goer: “I attended one of their concerts at a convention in New Orleans and they rocked the house. Ages teens to 90s were on their feet dancing. Even people with canes and walkers were moving!”
