Meditation at Missouri Zen Center

Members of Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls and the general public are invited to an evening of Zen Buddhist meditation and instruction on Monday, July 30, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Missouri Zen Center, 220 Spring Avenue in Webster Groves. Participants need to remove their shoes on the porch before entering the meditation area.
Dr. Rosan Yoshida, a board member of Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls, founded The Missouri Zen Center in 1980 to foster the study and practice of the teachings of Zen Buddhism. It has provided the opportunity for Zen practice in the St. Louis area continuously since that time. The Missouri Zen Center sangha (community) has grown steadily over the years. Today the Zen Center offers daily zazen practice, classes for both beginners and advanced students, periodic sesshin retreats, and a library of books on Zen and Buddhism.
Parking at the Missouri Zen Center can be tricky; please consult their guidance.
