Comparative Religion Panel: Appreciating Our Neighbors, October 2 at Lewis and Clark Community College
On Tuesday, October 2, Lewis and Clark Community College will host a Comparative Religion Panel called Appreciating Our Neighbors, featuring speakers from the Sikh, Mormon and Christian Science faiths. The panel will be held at the Ann Whitney Olin Theatre at the Hatheway Cultural Center in Godfrey, Illinois, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. See the full flier here.
The panel will feature:
- Maryl Walters, Christian Science healer, teacher and lecturer. Maryl is the chair of our Cabinet and a member of our board for 2012.
- Harjot Singh Padda, of the Sikh Study Circle of St. Louis.
- Reid Mortensen, Mormon Public Affairs Director for LDS Church of Southern Illinois.
This event is presented by the Diversity Council of Lewis and Clark Community College.
