Triumph Over Darkness

Join the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center to mark the UN Day in Support of Victims of Torture by listening to Marie-Christine Williams tell her powerful Personal Story. At the age of 14, Williams lost her entire family in the 1994 Rwandan genocide. The daughter of a Rwandan Tutsi father and Romanian Jewish mother – most of whose family was killed in the Holocaust – WIlliams now resides in St. Louis and shares her story of survival, reconciliation, and triumph all over the world. Her book, The Dark Side of Human Nature, will be available for purchase.
