Religions of the World at Festival of Nations

August 25, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Each year, the International Institute hosts their Festival of Nations on the last weekend in August. Since 2012, Interfaith Partnership has coordinated the Religions of the World tent, where different religious and ethical traditions have the opportunity to interact with the public about themselves.

Under the tent, visitors can stroll among the displays of diverse religious artifacts and also can meet with representatives from Interfaith Partnership and have their questions answered. IP provides this opportunity so that festival goers can have a casual means to learn about the similarities and differences among many religions of our world.

The tent will include a wide variety of beliefs, faiths and faith-based institutions, including Living Insights Center, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, Baha’i, Baptist (Christianity), Church of Christ, Scientist, Roman Catholicism, Mormon Church, Community of Christ, Metro East Inter-Faith Partnership, Center for Sustainability and Spirituality, United Church of Christ, Ethical Humanism and Sikhism.

If your group is interested in participating, please contact Mary Pedersen at maryp@interfaithstl.org or at 314-918-2541 x 701.
