Arts & Faith St. Louis and the Saint Louis Art Museum are engaged in an exciting collaboration that offers opportunities for the St. Louis community to deepen interfaith dialogue and understanding through the visual arts.
The first of these opportunities has been the development of free, drop-in tours at the Museum. Led by docents, these specially designed tours focus on artworks which reflect a wide range of faith traditions and inspire questions and conversations among the tour leaders and participants. The next open to the public tour is scheduled for Sunday, January 21, at 2pm.
The 90-minute tours depart from the Museum’s Information Center in Sculpture Hall in the Main Building. Full detailed flyer above.
Also in the works is the development of community programming with the same focus: the visual arts as an expression of faith traditions and a stimulus to thoughtful conversation. More information on that programming will be forthcoming.
