Mission: JOY Interfaith Panel Discussion

Join Eden Theological Seminary for panel of religious leaders to discuss the film Mission: JOY and its wisdom. The panel will be on Wednesday, February 16th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.  The moderator is the Rev. Matt Miofsky, founding pastor of The Gathering a multicampus church in St. Louis. Matt was a student of Archbishop Tutu’s at Emory.   

Invited panelists are:  

  • Imam Mohamed Hasic, the Islamic Community Center of St. Louis, and a member of Eden’s Progressive Religious Leaders Collegium
  • The Rt. Rev. Deon Johnson, 11th Bishop, Episcopal Diocese of Missouri, and a member of Eden’s Progressive Religious Leaders Collegium.
  • Maharat Rori Picker Neiss serves as the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of St Louis, and a member of Eden’s Progressive Religious Leaders Collegium.
  • Rev. Dr. Damayanthi Niles, Interim Academic Dean, and Professor of Constructive Theology (Allen and Dottie Miller Professor of Mission and Peace) at Eden
  • Rev. Dr. Sonja Williams, Dean of the Seminary and Assistant Professor of Practical Theology
