One-Day Gospel Fest at the History Museum

Join our friends and partners The Community Gospel Choir of St. Louis and The Gospel Music Hall of Fame for this in-person, one-day, event!
Don’t miss this one-day festival dedicated to gospel music! We’ll explore the genre through live performances, activities for all ages, and the St. Louis Sound exhibit. There will also be a screening of the 1982 documentary “Say Amen, Somebody,” which shares the intricate history of gospel music in the United States. The film spotlights the story of legendary gospel artist Willie Mae Ford Smith, and much of it was shot in St. Louis.
