We are delighted to announce the date for this year’s Annual Interfaith Dinner & Celebration: October 25th, 2018. Hosted by the St. Louis Muslim community, this year’s dinner will be held at the St. Charles Convention Center, just ten minutes west of the St. Louis Airport.
Our Program, “Many Paths, One Future,” will feature Tarek El-Messidi, a Muslim speaker and the founder of CelebrateMercy, CelebrateMercy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that teaches about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ’s life and character – to Muslims and the general public.
In St. Louis, we especially know and respect Mr. El-Messidi for the leadership he showed in 2017 by co-creating a fundraiser to help cover cleanup costs after the desecration of the Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, when dozens of headstones were toppled and broken by vandals. The Muslim community is eager to bring him back to St. Louis and share his vision for our future.
This year’s planning is under the leadership of Chair Dr. Helal Ekramuddin, a board member of Interfaith Partnership and the President of the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis.
