Annual Meeting: Compassionate St. Louis

TitleWeb

ALL Interfaith Partnership members and friends are invited to our Annual Members Meeting and Panel at 7pm on Monday, February 24th, 2014. We will open the doors at 6:30pm and set out coffee and light refreshments, then begin with our business meeting at 7pm. The panel discussion will immediately follow the business meeting. Please join us in the Eden Theological Seminary Chapel (475 East Lockwood Ave, St. Louis, MO 63119).

Business Meeting

We will convene for the important functions of our annual business meeting. We will vote on the slate of nominees for seats on our board, vote on the operating budget for the 2014 year, and hear short board and staff reports. This part of the event will be kept short so we can move quickly into the exciting part of the evening. All paid members of Interfaith Partnership can take place in the voting process.

Compassionate St. Louis: A New Initiative for our Region

A panel presentation from different religions will address the nature and meaning of “compassion” and will highlight the Compassionate City initiative which has grown from Karen Armstrong’s global effort to make the Charter for Compassion a key element of a healthy, safe and more just world in the 21st century.
