Rabbi Amy Eilberg, Keynote Speaker

eilbergOur keynote speaker, Rabbi Amy Eilberg, is a longtime leader in the interfaith community. Rabbi Amy Eilberg is the first woman ordained as a Conservative rabbi by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. After many years of work in pastoral care and hospice, Rabbi Eilberg now serves as a spiritual director, directs interfaith dialogue programs in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, and teaches at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and St. Catherine University. She serves as a co-chair of the Civility Initiative of the Jewish Council on Public Affairs and teaches the art of listening and peacebuilding in venues throughout the country. Her book, From Enemy to Friend: Jewish Wisdom and the Pursuit of Peace, was published by Orbis Books in March 2014.

For her keynote, Rabbi Eilberg will speak on the topic “Who is My Neighbor?”

Honorees Rev. Dr. David & Leigh Hunt Greenhaw

We are thrilled to honor two longtime friends and leaders of Interfaith Partnership for their influential support and vision for the interfaith community.

Rev. Dr. David Greenhaw is the President of Eden Theological Seminary, which supports interfaith relationships in the St. Louis area. Dr. Greenhaw is an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ with joint partner standing with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Leigh Hunt Greenhaw was the President of Interfaith Partnership from 2011 to 2013 where she led the organization through an office move, staff transitions and new board structure. She recently retired from a teaching career at Washington University’s School of Law.
