An Interfaith Response to Boston

Over 100 supporters of the interfaith community gathered on Wednesday, April 24th, to offer prayers for the healing of Boston, and to begin to understand this act of violence as part of our interfaith world.

Speakers were Imam Mohamed Hasic, Rev. David Greenhaw, and Rabbi Susan Talve. Each spoke about the importance of being there for one another, for intentionally making connections with our friends and neighbors so that we have bonds of friendship in place which prevent acts like this and help us heal better when they do.

Rabbi Susan Talve asked us to “show up” for each other in her remarks responding to the Boston Marathon bombings.
Board president Imam Mohamed Hasic spoke on the importance of reaching out and truly knowing our neighbors.
Over 100 people gathered for An Interfaith Response to Boston to hear speakers and join in discussion.
